Here's an assignment I gave to my class today. Our volleyball team was in the state tournament, so I have a total of four students in class. Because we're studying poetry this week, I decided this would be the best way to engage the few students who are here in a meaningful activity while not making the other students feel too far behind. I'll then have the students post their poetry comics on my class wiki page.
I thank you for introducing me to stripgenerator. I put it to use in my final project for this class. I think the graphics are way better than on ToonDoo and you don't have to worry about providing your own pictures, like on ComicLife. I also think that the students would find these graphics much more engaging...I know I did.
ReplyDeleteI think that this is a great project. Did you think any more about having the students give feedback to the illustrators as the "grade" for this assignment? The students could then revise their comic based on the feedback. i think that would be pretty helpful.
